1. Purpose and audience
CathLabHub provides educational and reference material intended for licensed healthcare professionals and trainees working in cardiac catheterization laboratories. The Content reflects the practice and opinions of a single institution and its contributors at the time of writing and is offered for general informational and educational purposes only.
2. No medical advice and no standard of care
Nothing on this site constitutes medical advice, a recommendation for any individual patient, or a statement of the standard of care. The Content does not create a physician and patient relationship. It is not a substitute for the independent professional judgment of a qualified clinician, the policies and procedures of your own institution, the manufacturer's current instructions for use for any device or drug, or current clinical practice guidelines, all of which take precedence.
3. Your responsibility to verify
Medicine changes. Doses, thresholds, device sizes, compatibility tables, guideline classifications and regulatory approvals in the Content may be outdated, incomplete or inapplicable to your setting. You are solely responsible for verifying every item of information before relying on it in clinical practice, and for adapting any protocol or procedure to your own institution, patient population and equipment.
4. Calculators and simulators
The calculators are decision support aids that depend on the values you enter and on assumptions stated in them; they are not validated medical devices and must not be the sole basis for a clinical decision. The simulators and practice cases are training tools using modeled, non patient data; performance in a simulator does not certify competence.
5. Not for emergencies
The Content is not designed or intended for use during a medical emergency. In an emergency follow your institution's emergency procedures.
6. No patient information
Do not enter protected health information or any patient identifiable data into any tool on this site. The site does not collect, request or store patient information.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Content is provided as is and as available, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non infringement. CathLabHub does not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error free.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CathLabHub, its contributors, authors and affiliated institutions shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary damages, or for any loss, injury or claim, arising out of or in connection with the use of or reliance on the Content, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greatest extent the law allows.
9. Shared material
Material submitted by others is reviewed before publication but remains the responsibility of its contributor; its appearance on this site is not an endorsement. Contributors warrant that they have the right to share what they submit and that it contains no patient information or third party proprietary material.
10. Intellectual property and license
